The American Negro in The World War

I didn’t write it, of course, it’s 1919 by Emmett J. Scott. There wasn’t a readable Kindle edition available at Amazon.com so I uploaded one.

Scott’s Official History of the American Negro in The World War

There is a multitude of interesting points about WWI and the “Negro” contribution. There are many fascinating nuggets but the German propaganda campaign to keep down the Black enlistment was enlightening, and so was the eagerness to enlist.  There is some history included on lynching which what I was researching when I found it. Many history buffs will find this book worth their time.
